2026 General Assembly

Greetings all,

TN Ministries Annual General Assembly is planned for Sept 18 - 19 at Grace Place in Hermitage. This year, the GA is moving to a new format to help accommodate our Co-Vocational Pastors. We will plan to start on Friday, Sept 18 in the afternoon (3pm) and finish by noon on Saturday, Sept 19. This year, Servant Solutions will help sponsor our dinner on Friday.

I am excited that Rev (Dr) Jeffery Fyrmire will be our speaker this year.  He will be leading a conference on Preaching Hard Passages as a part of the James Earl Massey Center for Compelling Preaching.

Below is our schedule for the GA.

Friday, Sept 18

1:30 pm Registration

3:00 pm Servant Solutions conference

4:30 pm Preaching Clinic begins - Toward a Narrative Understanding”

5:30 pm Dinner - Catered at the church and sponsored by Servant Solutions

6:30 pm Worship - I Timothy 2:12-15; Sermon Title: “Why Is Paul so Angry?”

8:00 pm  “How to Approach Narrative Texts – A Narrative Hermeneutic”

Saturday, Sept 19

8:30 am  “Preaching Hard Passages – The Massey Way

9:30 am  “Preaching Hard Passages – An Exegetical Approach”

10:30 am TN Ministries GA

11:15 am Ordination Service

12:00 - TN Min GA Concludes
